Impersonation and fake profiles
Content posted on social networks or sent from fake accounts disappears easily, and a screenshot taken afterwards establishes very little. The first step is to preserve what exists now, in a way that can be verified later.
What can be established
- — That a post or profile existed, and its exact content, on a given date
- — The technical origin of the emails or messages received
- — The relationship between several accounts or posts
- — Alteration of content that had already been published
What I need to start
- — The addresses or links of the content to preserve, as soon as possible
- — The original emails or messages, with their full headers
- — The accounts or profiles affected
